Bedroom For A Gamer

This project was such a joy to create as there is always so much scope for fun with a child's room.
This kid loves gaming but we needed to balance that with his need for a study station and for it to be a suitable sleeping environment.
We also had a new consideration for this room which was to create enough floor space for a safe VR area.
As there wasn't much natural light in the room, the base colour on the walls was a soft neutral and all the impact came in with a specially selected wall mural paper. The geometric shapes created a huge splash in the room that was on point for the gaming brief but the warm colour palette ensured it still created a cosy space in the evenings.
The L-shaped desk enabled the work space to be zoned off and placed where there was most natural light, opening up the floor for the VR area.
This little gamer was thrilled.
